GDL One Act Festival - 2026
Our 2026 One-Act Festival was held at Chapter in Cardiff from 16-18 April 2026 and adjudicated by Me Keith Phillips, GoDA. We had six official entries plus a play from visiting theatre company, Theatr am Olgaeck, Stuttgart, Germany

Best Individual Comedy Performance presented by Sybil Fowler to Becky McVicar as Ashworth in All By Myself (Award accepted by Matthew Lee)
Innovation Award presented by John Hughes to PODS the set, costumes & props in All By Myself
Best Individual Performance Award presented by Teri McCarthy to Johnathan James as Derek in A Kind of Vesuvius, Players' Theatre
Best Director Award presented by Fiona Porter-Smith to Gareth Gibbs for A Kind Of Vesuvius, the Player's Theatre
Best Adult Production Award presented by Councillor Adrian Robson, the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, to Penarth Operatic & Dramatic Society for All by Myself
